What are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash Extensions are semi-permanent. They are applied to individual eyelashes, one extension to one of your eyelashes at a time, for a natural or dramatic look to lengthen and add fullness to your existing lashes.
Please remember the Eyelash extension process can take a couple of hours. It should take at least 1.5 hours to 3 hours for volume lashes dependent on your own natural lashes and how full you like them.
Will your natural lashes get harmed or damaged?
The biggest myth is that lash extensions ruin your own lashes; They do not.
If applied correctly, and kept clean at home they are safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes.
You MUST keep your eyelash extension clean by cleansing them usuing an oil free gentle lash cleanser.
Our skin secretes oil and those oils (if not properly cleansed) can stick the eyelash extensions together. Without cleansing them regularly they can get a build up of your natural facial oils, loose skin cells, makeup, cleansing products, moisturizers, dust etc.
Lashes that are not cleansed regularly run the risk of developing lash-mites. These mites can cause damage to the hair follicle of your natural lashes, leading to inflammation and itchiness.
Proper cleansing routines keep these bad boys at bay!

Do lash extensions fall out over a certain period of time?
Eyelash Extension last differently for everyone -
Some people get 2 weeks, whilst others get 4+ weeks. There are different factors that determine this. This includes:
- The environment – humidity, exposure to water (swimming often etc)
- Natural Facial Oils or Oils from products – Oils break down the glue which can detach a lash extension.
- Your natural lash cycle - Since each lash extension is attached to a single eyelash, they can fall out naturally along with the natural growth cycle of each eyelash.
- How full you like them!
Some people want them to look full all the time & that’s why getting a re-fill every 2 weeks is needed whilst others don’t mind the lash extensions getting soft and wispy!
We recommend a touch-up every two to four weeks for best results.
